Gramophone needle tins...
from the collection of the late Julian Dickinson attracted collectors from around the world to bid live online.
The collection, which contained many scarce examples, realised a total of over 5,000 with a top price for an individual tin of 210 for the rare 'Rocket' tin shown above..
The pots from under the stairs... a small hoard of early Leach Pottery found in a sealed cupboard under the stairs of a former home of Bernard Leach, sold for top prices in our May auction. The highest price achieved was for this 20cm slipware dish from the earliest days of the Leach Pottery which sold for 450...
British silver coins...
a collection of British silver coins dating from up to pre-1947 George VI examples did better than expected in our May auction coins section. The 18 lots sold for over 1,200... although the individual coins had no great value, the interest was created by their very fine to extremely fine condition...
Automobilia collection...
Items from a single owner collection of automobilia were offered as a dedicated section in our May two-day auction. One of the top sellers were these cased silver 'chauffeur' novelty salt & pepper based on the original pair in the Royal Automobile Club, London... always a sought after item & good seller when they appear in auction, this set sold for 400...

Miltary wristwatches win the day... at 5,000 & 1,950...

The rarest of the twelve much sought-after British military wristwatches known as the 'Dirty Dozen' is the Grana watch... the one above, although not in great condition, still sold for 5,000 due to its rarity...

Another military wristwatch always in demand is the Lemania stainless steel watch from the 1950's above which was also featured in the watches section of our June auction & sold for 1,950...
