Appraisals & valuation services at the saleroom & appointments for home visits are no longer available. Unsold auction entries & uncollected items still in our possession at the end of September will be donated to Penzance Rotary Club for raising funds for charities & good causes.

Thank you to everyone who has sent me messages & cards since I announced retirement. It was very pleasing to read so many appreciations for Barbara Kirk Auctions, the staff & the
auction service we provided . I hope to reply to all, but if it is not possible, thank you all.
From the beginning it was always a deliberate aim to provide a personal & efficient service for all our auction processes & for every client, seller & buyer. From the messages received, myself & my colleagues are all pleased that we appeared to do this successfully.
Many messages have commented that they will miss our auctions. This also applies to myself & all my staff. We will also miss the many hundreds of people we have got know through Barbara Kirk Auctions & our previous employments in the auction business. For myself there also the many who have become long-time friends over the last 40 years back to days of my standing at fairs & my shop in Penzance.
I am supremely grateful to Ann, Anton, Lesley, John & the many helpers & supporters over the last 13 years whose contributions to The Harbour Saleroom were vital to making it work & a success.
My original message on retirement is repeated below & I would like to confirm that my retirement is simply a matter of a change, a rest & passing a 70th birthday!
